Here are two sample letters for parents, teachers and friends of Shuang Wen to use to thank those who are helping us fight the DOE. The first one is for Councilwoman Rosie Mendez and Councilman Alan Gerson. The second one is for Comptroller-Elect John Liu and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.

Thank you for attending the Nov 18th meeting at PS 20, and showing your strong support for District 1 parents and children in their effort to stop the DOE plan that would harm public education on the Lower East Side.
Your message of unity was wonderful. So was your encouragement that we all work together to ensure that the DOE does not expand a charter school at the expense of thriving public schools.
Thank you for reminding us to hold the DOE accountable.
In the coming weeks, we will need your help in our fight to preserve our school and all the public schools of District 1.
