I am a parent at Shuang Wen School (P.S.184M). Recently, we learned of the DOE plan to place another school in our building. After hearing this news, I am very angry and firmly express my opposition.
Shuang Wen School is a school in the growing stage and therefore is already lacking enough space for our own children. If you allow other schools to use our space, it will inevitably affect the teachers and students’ ability to teach and learn normally and cause the school to fall into a chaotic state. I am expressing protest to these Department of Education proposals. I hope the Department of Education will be more thoughtful towards the more than 600 students in our school when considering a solution to their problem.
I understand that you are the best person who is able to hear the voices of the people and will put every effort possible into solving our problem. Therefore I write this letter to you in the hopes of obtaining your support, so that we can help each other more vigorously, and finally obtain success in our efforts.

Shuang Wen Parent我是雙文學校(PS184)學生的家長。最近我們獲悉教育局將佔用雙文學校部分空間作為其他學校的教室。我聽到後非常憤怒並表示堅決反對。
雙文學校是一所發展中的學校，已有很多學生沒有任何的空間。如果讓其他學校佔用空間，必然影響教師、學生的正常教學活動，使學校陷入混亂的情況。對於教育局的這一動議，我表示抗議。希望教育局能為六百多名學生著想，另尋解決方案。
我深知您是最能聽取大眾的聲音，並盡力幫助大眾解決問題。所以我給您寫信，希望再次得到您的大力相助，並希望最後獲得成功。
